Fiber Optic Adapter Description:
FC type adapter is metal material with a square shape. FC connector is metal material one, so the FC adaptor also is metal material. Because if a metal connector connected with a plastic adaptor, then it will cause unstable data transmission.
FC square metal adaptor has PC with red cap type and APC with green cap type. Both types are can be used exchangeably. Because it has no ferrule inside, only has a zirconia sleeve inside. It can be used only to ensure both side connectors are the same types. Such as UPC with UPC, APC with APC.
